Battram Bowling Club is a friendly & sociable club on your doorstep. The club has been established since 1925 and has over the years provided lots of people including their families hours of enjoyment through not only the bowls but also the social side.

So, If you are new to the area or just tired of all the repeats on TV come along and learn a new skill with us. Our green has over the years been used for County matches and finals so you will be sure of a great game.

Our club night is on Monday evenings with experienced players and coaches on hand to offer advice and have a game with you.

Battram Bowls Club Celebrates Centenary with Memorable Victory

 Battram Bowls Club proudly marked its 100th anniversary this year, commemorating a century since its founding in 1925. To celebrate this historic milestone, the club hosted a special match against the Leicestershire County Bowls team on 13th July. In a spirited display of skill and camaraderie, Battram emerged victorious with a final score of 81–59. The event was a true celebration of friendship, sportsmanship, and the enduring appeal of the game of bowls. It was a day to remember for all involved, honouring the club’s rich heritage and looking ahead to its future
